In collaboration with Bronx Fashion Week, we were able to make so many middle school & high school seniors from our community feel seen, confident, and prom-ready — for FREE 💃🏽🕺🏽

From dresses to suits to accessories — drip secured, confidence unlocked, smiles everywhere 💫

Last week, Comp Sci High students joined nearly 2,000 young people from across New York City at the NYC Computer Science Opportunity Fair, held at the Armory in Washington Heights! 🗽💻

This annual event brought together 60 schools and 80+ tech companies, nonprofits, and colleges for a full day of exploration, connection, and inspiration. Our students had the opportunity to engage directly with industry professionals, explore cutting-edge technology, and connect with organizations shaping the future of tech.

From hands-on AI experiences to live coding and student project showcases, the day was immersive, engaging, and deeply aligned with the work we do every day at CSH.

The NYC tech pipeline is strong—and our students are a powerful part of that story. 🚀

We’re proud to share that Comp Sci High was recently featured on Spectrum NY1 News for our annual Design Competition.

For one week, our students became filmmakers- working alongside FORTY industry professionals to explore real issues impacting the Bronx, from recreation access to public transportation. The result: powerful, student-produced documentaries that reflect both technical skill and deep community awareness.

This is what career-connected learning looks like in action.

Comp Sci High is standing with our students and families in the South Bronx as many face an unexpected hardship: SNAP/EBT benefits have been delayed and cut due to the government shutdown.

Nearly 70% of CSH families rely on SNAP to meet basic food needs. Our school community is doing everything possible—preparing extra meals, distributing grocery gift cards, and offering direct support—but the need has grown rapidly in recent days.

We’ve launched a GoFundMe campaign to provide emergency food assistance. 100% of funds raised will go directly to affected families.
