Mable was the perfect house guest!!! She was found as a stray in Dryburg area. Thankfully a family feed & kept her safe.

Tonight she hitched a ride with Kim to Roxboro where Triangle Beagle Rescue of North Carolina took up the rest of her roadtrip tonight. She’s in great hands to find her forever home with lots of love and pets (she was a big of fan of both!).

Happy trials Mable. You were a sweet girl 🐾

Our handsome Border Collie, Captain, left rescue today to begin the next chapter of his journey with A Forever Home Rescue Foundation . While we’re sad to see him go, we’re incredibly grateful that he has this opportunity for a brighter future.

A huge thank you to Anita, who generously provided transport and safely delivered Captain on his journey. Volunteers like Anita make lifesaving rescues possible every single day!!

Please join us in wishing Captain the very best as he settles into his new rescue and continues his search for the forever family he deserves. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing boy!

Our rescue partner Richmond Animal League agreed to take these sweet 8 puppies and 4 cats. They are on route as we speak with volunteer Kim.

There is much whining and singing 🎶… the 🐶 🐶, not me!! Makes for an entertaining drive.

Notice the purr-rito. Our 2 tabbies weren’t digging their Uber driver. Certainly would not recommend.

Helping out at local animal control, Halifax County Animal Control.
Walking dogs, playing with the kitties, and doing laundry, cleaning bowls and crates. These Ladies get a gold star today! Thanks for caring, Kris & Philippa. Also, thanks to Sunshine for being such a sweet girl easy to see how she got her name!

5 Pups got their get out of jail free cards today. It was their lucky day. 1 headed to Tribeagle Rescue. 2 headed for Southside SPCA and 2 place in foster care. All of these babies will sleep peaceful tonight.
