Owned and operated by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio and located in the Hocking Hills

Located on nearly 800 acres in the Hocking Hills region of Ohio, Camp Oty'Okwa is owned and operated by Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Ohio and provides meaningful programming to children and teens that focuses on youth empowerment, environmental education, team building, and life skills. Camp Oty'Okwa operates year round and is also open for rental groups. The property features lodging, a dining hall, recreational center, basketball court, swimming pool, and miles of hiking trails.

👩🏾‍🔬 Youth Empowerment Institute connects campers with real scientists, resilience building activities, and learning about what opportunities are out there to build their futures. 🐞 We are so honored that Museum of Biological Diversity at Ohio State University’s Emily Kridel joined us with fascinating specimens, 🚙 Ohio Department of Transportation sent archaeology equipment with ground scanning technology, and our teen campers were able to visit 🏛️Ohio Dominican University with a special campus tour with our own ODU alumna, Youth Program Manager Namare Pryor!
