Dancers Making a Difference Dancers Making a Difference was formed to allow studios to perform together in a noncompetitive environment while raising money for a local nonprofit.

Dancers Making a Difference was born from an idea by Brixham Danceworks' director and teachers wanting to perform with other local dance studios in a noncompetitive environment, while giving back to their community. All profits from performance ticket sales and other fundraisers are donated to a different local Maine or New Hampshire nonprofit each year. Dancers Making a Difference was granted official 501(c)(3) status in the state of Maine in 2015.
