When our priority is supporting people living with cancer, survivors, and their families, building updates wait.

For more than a decade, RiverBend’s Wellness House has been a place where people can find comfort, connection, wellness programs, and support services to help them face and move through some of life’s hardest seasons. Over those ten-plus years, our building has naturally aged in ways that now require our attention, and it's time to invest a little love and care back into it.

We are grateful to 1st Source Bank Foundation for their generous $25,000 contribution toward our Wellness House Renovations & Improvements Project. Their generosity helps make these updates possible so the Wellness House can continue to be a warm, welcoming place for people living with cancer, survivors, and their families in our community.

Join us at Dance for the Cure on Saturday, August 22, at South Bend Elks Lodge #235 on McKinley Ave. from 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM! Sponsored by Dan O'Day Dance Studio and The De Amicis Club, this annual event raises funds to support programming and services for people living with cancer, survivors, and their families in our community.

We’re deeply grateful for this partnership and for the enthusiasm and dedication poured into this event each year, making it such a fun and meaningful experience for everyone involved. If you're interested in attending this year's Dance for the Cure, you can purchase tickets at RiverBend's Wellness House or Dan O'Day Dance Club.

On July 16, we gathered at the Beiger Mansion for Jazz Around the Bend to honor and celebrate Cari and Barry Shein for their extraordinary support of people living with cancer, survivors, and their families in our community.

We recently received the photos from that night and enjoyed looking back at the many moments that made it so special.

Throughout the evening, we were reminded that while cancer can change everything, the support someone has along the way can change everything, too.

Every day we see how the right support at the right moment can improve the way someone is able to face and move through one of the hardest seasons of their life.

People living with cancer, survivors, and their family members can walk into our Wellness House and access counseling services, financial assistance, wellness programs, and more, completely free, because of the generosity of friends like Cari and Barry, and because of the generosity of so many in our community.
