More Than Energy Efficiency

Weatherization is about more than saving energy—it’s about keeping people safe. After a carbon monoxide detector we installed alerted a client to dangerous CO coming from the interior of her dryer, she immediately called the fire department and our auditor. Although the dryer’s warranty had just expired, our team helped coordinate with the manufacturer to get it repaired.

A simple detector, a quick response, and a little extra advocacy helped make this home safer. That’s Weatherization.

🧦🎉 SOCKTOBER IS BACK! 🎉🧦

It’s time to sock it to us! The REAL Enrichment Center is celebrating our 2nd Annual SOCKTOBER, and we have a BIG goal this year!

Last year, our amazing community donated more than 1,500 pairs of socks. This year, we want to DOUBLE IT! 🙌

From October 1–31, we’re collecting NEW socks in adult and children’s sizes to help keep our neighbors warm, safe, and dry this fall and winter. ❤️

Socks are the #1 most requested item in shelters, and every single pair can make a difference.

🏢 Businesses, schools, and organizations—we’d LOVE for you to join the fun! We’ll even pick up donations weekly from participating groups.

End of an Era… For the Second Time! ❤️

Today we celebrate Marce as she heads into retirement — again! 😊

We will miss her wisdom, her laughter, and the love she brings to our REAL family every single day. She has shared so much of herself with all of us, and we are incredibly grateful for the memories, lessons, friendship, and laughter along the way.

But now it is finally time for YOU, Marce! ❤️ Time to travel, explore new places, make new memories, sleep in when you want to, and enjoy days that belong completely to you.

Thank you for everything you have given to our team and the people we serve. Your impact will stay with us long after your last day.

Happy Retirement, Marce! Enjoy every adventure and every minute of this next chapter. And just know… we’ll be right here if you decide you want to come back and give retirement a third try! ❤️✈️
