Happy Birthday to our Meghann! 🩷🎂

If you know Meghann, you know she is ALWAYS doing something for her people. Whether it’s an event, supporting our members, building partnerships, bringing people together, or finding some way to make someone feel special, she pours so much of herself into the people and community around her.

She works incredibly hard, gives more than anyone ever asks of her, and somehow manages to keep showing up with positivity, warmth, and a genuine love for what she does and the people she does it for.

Meghann, SBAR simply wouldn’t be SBAR without you. You deserve to be celebrated BIG today! 🥳💐

🍽️ Doors open at 11:30 AM for Lunch

Then at Noon we’ll start the educational session focused on practical, real-world safety strategies, including awareness and prevention, situational assessments, and a Q&A with Officer Brady.

🥋 stick around from 1:00–2:00 PM for a hands-on self-defense workshop with YPN, where you’ll have the opportunity to put those safety strategies into practice!

What a way to wrap up the IAR Fall Conference in Indy! 💙🏡

We packed a lot into a few days…learning, connecting, celebrating, and spending time with some pretty incredible people from across the state.

One of the best parts was getting to bring our SBAR Leadership Academy class along for the experience. They jumped right in, made connections, learned a ton, and truly embraced everything the conference had to offer. I think it is safe to say…they loved it!

We were also surrounded by an amazing group of SBAR volunteer leaders and members throughout the conference. In fact, I am pretty sure South Bend Area REALTORS® may have had one of the largest association turnouts there…and I absolutely loved seeing so many familiar faces representing our area.

And we had A LOT to celebrate! 🎉

🦅 Our own John DeSouza was honored with the RPAC Eagle Award for his commitment to advocacy and RPAC.

🏆 Our 2026 President, Jen Arizmendi, was recognized as South Bend Area REALTORS®’ Local REALTOR® of the Year.

🎓 We also had two SBAR members graduate from the Indiana REALTORS® Leadership Academy…an incredible accomplishment and another great example of our members stepping up to lead at the local and state level.

There is something pretty special about being surrounded by people who care deeply about this industry, their communities, and the future of homeownership.

South Bend showed up in Indy…and we showed up BIG. 💙

It was an honor to support Hannah's House of Michiana and their mission. We loved having them be apart of the evening. 🤩 Thank you for the meaningful work you guys do every day for women, children, and families in our community.
