Right now it’s dirt, concrete footings, and excavators. One day it will be so much more.

But it was never about the square footage or the layout. It’s always been about the kids, and this community is making sure the Early Learning Center is the best possible space for them.

Here are some of the people showing up to make it happen.
R. Yoder Construction is making progress every single day.
Donors from every walk of life are making this campaign possible.
Prayer warriors are carrying it forward with every word.

You can play a part too. Learn more and take your place at onecampaign.transformation58.com

Meet Monica, one of our incredible CLK Specialists.

Monica isn't a new face around Transformation. She and her family have been part of this community since 2020, with a child in CLK, another in ISI, and two in alumni. Transformation has been the village they didn't know they needed. Now, as a CLK Specialist, Monica gets to help build that village for others.

With 18 years in family childcare, it's always been about the kids for her. "I want to be the kind of person for these kids who sees past the things others aren't willing to look past, to see the gold in them others might not," she shared.

Monica, we’re so excited to have you on the team and can’t wait to see what God does in and through you as you serve City Light Kids.

Greater Impact provides employment and mentoring opportunities for ISI students and alumni, and we'd love to give you back those hours of work with trimming, mowing, leaf and stick pickup, and more.

These days, there are some big things happening at Transformation, but God’s been up to something big in this neighborhood for a lot longer than this.

It’s a privilege and honor to get to do life with families in South Bend, and we can’t wait to see how lives will be transformed in the years to come.

You are worth the work.

Every obstacle, every dollar, every policy, every late night, every question. Future kids of the Early Learning Center, future parents, future families YOU are worth the work.

Yesterday, with the help of our partners at R.Yoder Construction, we saw another move of God as we broke ground on the ELC. This is a project 5 years in the making, and we can hardly wait to meet all the kids who will be part of this Transformation family.

Relationships Come First

It’s a core value at Transformation, and recently Aric Diaz (A.D.) helped us showcase this in a special way.

A.D. went from a teenager getting in trouble for graffiti to an artist using his gifts to serve his community. Today, A.D. serves with GRIP Outreach for Youth in Chicago, mentoring students in the city and helping them see who God created them to be.

After a chance meeting with A.D. at a ministry camp last summer, we knew we had found the perfect person to help us bring our final organizational belief to life through art in the Transformation gym. He invited our youth to learn graffiti art, work alongside him in mentorship, taught us and how to submit our talents for the Kingdom!

We are so grateful for A.D. and for the permanent reminder of what we all know to be true...relationships come first.

Some of the best moments at Transformation happen around the table. That’s why family style dinners at CLK and ISI matters so much.

But none of it happens without the generosity of our food teams. Thank you for providing delicious meals week after week, serving our kids and mentors, and loving on them in such tangible ways.

You are transforming lives, one meal at a time.

Madi has known for a long time that she wants to work with kids. It was the how that felt unclear.

That's what led her to intern at Transformation Ministries in the first place. Even as she was discerning how God was leading her, she knew this internship would be a great place to figure that out, while helping kids grow, build relationships, and become more of who God created them to be.

Along the way, she experienced her own transformation too, because as we help others grow, we grow ourselves. Today, Madi serves with our CLK team and is an ISI mentor, and we're so grateful for the ways she pours into this community.
