Public Notice: Cancellation of Community Police Review Board Meeting

The Community Police Review Office (CPRO) is informing the public that the upcoming Community Police Review Board (CPRB) meeting has been canceled due to the inability to achieve a quorum.

The CPRB has recently experienced several member resignations and unexpected personal circumstances, temporarily affecting Board attendance. As outlined in the Boardโ€™s bylaws and the Indiana Open Door Law, a quorum is necessary to conduct official business.

While this cancellation is regrettable, it does not diminish our unwavering commitment to civilian oversight and public accountability. The Community Police Review Office remains fully operational and continues to fulfill its responsibilities for administrative support, transparency, and oversight in accordance with Ordinance No. 10721-20.

We are proactively collaborating with City leadership to fill the Board vacancies and reinstate full operational capacity. Once a quorum is achieved, the CPRB will promptly resume its regular public meetings, with all meeting dates announced in strict compliance with City and state law.

We sincerely appreciate the public's understanding and continued involvement during this transition. Our commitment to transparency, accountability, and the integrity of the civilian oversight process remains steadfast.

Sincerely,
Community Police Review Office
