Contra dance Friday Sept 19 ~ Please note that there's construction on Riverside Drive going south from Cleveland Road and that Boland Drive will be closed and people will be routed down to Woodlawn to get back to Riverside and go north to the park entrance. ~ If you're coming from the south, the simple way to the park is straight up Riverside Drive from Angela Blvd.

If you'll be attending the contra dance on Friday, August 15, and please note that there's construction on Riverside Drive going south from Cleveland Road to Boland. You can still get to Pinhook by way of Cleveland Road -- turn south at Portage, stay in the left lane for a few minutes and follow the roundabout 3/4 of the way to Boland. Take Boland to Riverside, turn right, and you'll see the park on your right.

You can still join the Monday night contra dance series for the month of June!

We plan to go ahead with our Monday Night Contra Dance starting this coming Monday, the 19th of May. We will skip Memorial Day and have the other five dances in June.

Several people signed up for all six weeks ($24). We hope others will drop in for one dance or another -- The Music Village will charge $5 for individual drop-ins. The more the merrier!

A fine night last Friday with over 50 dancers on the floor. Thanks to all who came. One dance we'll do again on March 21 is "Gärdebylåten" – that's the name is often known by, but it's originally a trad dance from France, "Chapelloise."
