Thank you to our youth leaders for giving up a week of their time to pour into the teens. Was it exhausting? Yes was it good and challenging for us spiritually? Yes. Was it worth it? 100%! Please continue to pray for the four of our leaders as we live for Jesus daily and help to guide the students that God has placed in our lives. Shanna (7th-9th grade girls), Stephanie (10th-12th grade girls), John (7th-9th grade guys) and Taylor (10th -12th grade guys).

Day 5: We made it home safely last night about midnight! We are Sent! We were reminded that our mission field is in our homes, schools, jobs and community. We need to fully live this out to impact those around us for the kingdom. Please pray for these teens and the ones that didn't come this year, to live fully for Jesus, to remember to share what God's done, to be vulnerable and loving and to bodily share the Gospel. Day 4: We are Changed and called to unity. We learned that our differences shouldn't affect our unity because we are united by Jesus. We spent time in worship and teaching, had quiet time and then in our youth group time we discussed our quiet time and had a time where everyone prayed for the person to their right.
During our free afternoon we took the teens to Holland state park and had fun on the beach together.

Day 3: We are Rescued! It was a rainy day but we still had a lot of time to worship, listen to preaching, do quiet time and get a new tool to share the Gospel with those around us. We made the most of our free time playing a lot of card games and sharing a lot of laughs while bonding. In the evening you could go up to a bell and ring it to symbolize either coming to Jesus for salvation or recommitting your life to him. It was amazing to hear the bell ringing as hundreds of teens accepted Christ or recommitted their life to him. Our teens made some recommitment decisions as leaders prayed over them.

Day 1 and 2 of CIY. This year's theme is kingdom workers. Today we learned that to be a kingdom worker you have to know that you are loved by Jesus. The main verse is Ephesians 2:10. The teens did a basketball tournament, volleyball tournament and Asher did the Super Smash Bros tournament. We've had a lot of fun but also intentional quiet time and youth group time discussions.

Senior banquet is TONIGHT 5:30-7:30. Cost is $10 and we're serving an Italian dinner (lasagna, fettuccine Alfredo, salad, italian chicken strips and cake!) come hungry and come to celebrate Savannah, Jesse and Rispah! All teens welcome!
