It has taken us some time to find the right words to describe yesterday... and we're still not quite sure where to begin!

First, our volunteers...GRATEFUL doesn't even begin to describe how we feel. You worked your tails off from start to finish, and there is absolutely no way we could have pulled off a day like this without you. Thank you for every hour, every task, and every ounce of effort you gave.

Mother Nature...thank you for showing us a little mercy! After a forecast calling for a 100% chance of rain, we ended up with an absolutely beautiful day.

Rebel Pride band...WOW! You absolutely rocked the place! The compliments have been pouring in, and you put on one heck of a show. We can't thank you enough for helping make the night so memorable.

To our event sponsors...thank you for believing in our small club and investing in our community. Your support allows us to maintain our grounds, repair and improve our buildings, keep our lake and pier in shape, and continue our conservation efforts. This year we donated trees to every student at a local school to plant for Arbor Day, and we're excited to expand those efforts even more in 2027.

To our members...people see one incredible day, but they don't see the countless hours of planning, setup, mowing, repairs, cleaning, cooking, organizing, and preparation that happens all year long. This event is built on sweat equity, and we're incredibly proud of every member who helps keep this tradition alive.

And finally... to everyone who came out and supported us... THANK YOU! Despite the forecast, you showed up in record numbers and gave us our largest turnout in YEARS! In fact... we only had 11 ears of corn left! We'd call that a pretty successful Corn & Sausage Roast!

The tradition continues, and we couldn't be more proud to carry it on for generations to come.
