Social Action Project (SOCACT) At Social Action Project, we strive to make a difference in the world by providing support and resources for those affected by trauma.

Our organization is dedicated to creating a safe and inclusive community for individuals to heal and thrive The Social Action Project is a social enterprise operating in the States and abroad. We create initiatives using an asset-based model of community building. These initiatives use the arts -- theater, dance, public art, spoken word poetry-- to navigate complex personal trauma and to bring about social justice in our neighborhoods.

I am so excited to speak at the IUSB Black Student Union's Evening of Black Excellence!

The Black Student Union invites you to our Third Annual Evening of Black Excellence, a meaningful and inspiring celebration of Black History Month. Enjoy a dinner, student showcases, and a distinguished address from Dr. Dé Bryant as we honor Black voices, stories, and excellence across our campus.

When: Thursday, February 26th Time: 5:00 PM–7:30 PM EST Where: IU South Bend Grill

Tickets:

• Students: $1 or a canned good donation

• Faculty/Staff/Community members: $15

• Tables: $100
