Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc. Welcome to the Near Northwest Neighborhood of South Bend, Indiana! The Near Northwest Neighborhood, Inc.

Our charming neighborhood is incredibly varied with tree lined avenues, historic homes and a rich full history. (NNN) is a non-profit community development corporation, whose mission is to revitalize the neighborhood. The NNN’s efforts include the acquisition and rehabilitation of beautiful area homes; available for purchase now! NNN Homes are not your typical rehabs; the quality of construction a

nd attention to detail make them one of the best values in South Bend. While NNN Homes are important to the area and help stabilize the neighborhood, they are by no means the only homes available. There are many opportunities for you to become the owner of a great home in not just a wonderful neighborhood but in a community. The NNN also promotes neighborhood leadership and the interests of the residents by inviting the community to participate in a variety of social and environmental programs. Leadership has remained in the hands of the residents through a Board of Directors and committee structure to carry out the work.

We Make Indiana is pulling in a crowd this afternoon - this community is ready for safe housing for all!

we’re gathering with hundreds of our neighbors at Bethlehem Missionary Baptist Church to take action for safe housing in South Bend.

Too many families are living with mold, no heat or hot water, and neglect from absentee landlords. We’re bringing residents and public officials together to change that.
