The Studebaker Drivers Club-Michiana Chapter is based in South Bend, IN where the 114 year legacy of the Studebaker Corporation began. The ancestral home of Studebaker horse drawn carriages, as well as horseless carriages AKA automobiles and all of the Studebaker related items and products. We are a Chapter of a non-profit organization engaged in the preservation and the honoring of Studebaker his
tory. A Chapter of The Studebaker Drivers Club that it's members volunteer and participate in car shows, swap meets, cruise IN's, social gatherings, picnic's and party's to share our love and interest in all things Studebaker, with each other and the community at large where friendships of the same interests are formed. South Bend, IN is also where the Studebaker National Museum is located, which is typically where the Michiana Chapter holds it's monthly meetings. Approximately a quarter mile away from the museum is the former estate of Clement Studebaker, now known as the Tippecanoe Place Restaurant where guided historic tours of the 24,000 Sq. Former Studebaker assembly plant Building 84 now known as the Renaissance District is also located in South Bend, IN where the rehabilitating of the 1920's building is becoming home to cutting-edge technology companies and more. Ownership of a Studebaker vehicle is not required to join the Studebaker Drivers Club, all that is needed is an interest in them or the history of The Studebaker Corporation. The Studebaker Drivers Club offers monthly issues of Turning Wheels magazine. Each issue is full of historical articles, technical tips, future articles, up coming events, vehicles for sale, parts for sale, and advertising for Studebaker related items.
