Measles cases are on the rise in 2026, reminding us just how important vaccination is in protecting our communities. Measles is highly contagious and can spread through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Vaccination is your best protection! Public health authorities report that the vast majority of measles cases occur in unvaccinated individuals. Two doses of the MMR (measles, mumps, and rubella) vaccine are approximately 97% effective at preventing measles.

Know the symptoms:
• High fever
• Cough and runny nose
• Red, watery eyes
• A rash that typically starts on the face and spreads

🏳️‍🌈Come help out The LGBTQ Center this weekend and see their new space! We're excited to work closely with The LGBTQ Center and support all the great initiatives they offer our community!

After taking some time off after a busy June, we're preparing the chapter of The LGBTQ Center.

We've moved to a new space (201 S. Williams St in South Bend) and this Saturday we're going to unpack and shape up the space however we want.

If you're free, swing by and help out. This will also be a great time to learn about the future of the Center and how to get involved.
