Shoutout to Everwise Credit Union for spending their Day of Giving at the Bike Garage! The team accomplished an astonishing amount of work for us: repairing bikes, test riding, cleaning, and organizing. We are so grateful for the help. Our mission of keeping South Bend rolling is powered by amazing volunteers like you.

We are still selling refurbished bikes at the South Bend Bike Garage.

We just recently got a donation of bikes from Red Arrow Ride in Union Pier, MI. They brought over a load of nice, 7 speed hybrid bikes. Between the step over, and the step through frames, these bikes are great for people from 5ft to 6ft tall.

Just last Wednesday, two were sold…

Ryne, from Louisiana, is a nursing student; and his wife is a student at ND. He’s excited to start riding his new bike to his classes at Ivy Tech.

Turner Jr is a student at ND (computer engineering) from Texas. His bike was stolen from campus with the bike lock snapped in half. Be sure to pick up one of our Kryptonite locks while you’re in!

Stop in on Wednesdays from 5pm to 8pm to test ride your next bike. We are located across from the downtown library at 119 W Wayne Street, South Bend.

Another good night at the Bike Garage! We had a steady night- and lucky to get all the bikes fixed (including two wheels getting trued) by closing time!

Big thanks to our volunteers- Blake, Bob, Dave, Ester, Keathley, Loren (thanks for the brownies), Mark, Nicholas, Ryan, Shirell, Teresa (uh, me), and Tom. We couldn't do this without you!

Nightly stats- 9 bikes sold; 23 bikes serviced! Well done everyone!
