Read Across America 2026

This year, 10 CTDI branches across the country partnered with Partners in Outreach to celebrate Read Across America Week. Together, employees visited local elementary schools to read with first and second-grade students and help foster a love of literacy.

At each school visit, students not only enjoyed story time with volunteers—they also received a brand-new book to take home and keep. Through partnerships like these, we continue working to put books directly into the hands of children and promote lifelong reading habits.

We recently partnered with Bancroft Elementary School to bring the joy of reading directly into classrooms, creating meaningful moments for students and volunteers alike.

Highlights:
• Reached over 230 students in grades 1–3
• Each student received a brand-new book
