The top 5 richest countries per capita (GDP per person) are... Spoiler alert: The US isn't in the top five anymore. Our GDP per capita is roughly half of the top counties on the list. The video must be utilizing data from 2021 or 2022, because for 2023, the leaderboard has shifted again.

Link below for the top 10 list for 2023.

Ah, but they forgot about Monaco (City/state) with GDP of $234k/person.

If a country can't educate most of it's people to keep up with countries that somehow do, it won't be a top-tier country per capita in modern age for long, when higher thinking, problem solving ability, and tech skills are highly valued over brute strength.

Problem:
The US misallocated funds; the government sucks up too much money in non-productive means such as wars. Imagine if they would have deployed, say, the approximate $6 trillion that they spent on wars recently, and instead developed high-speed rail or other needed infrastructure that we are falling far behind on, or if we fixed our education system and better educated more of our own citizens instead of setting up schools in other countries we've blow up. Or how about the non-military(?) invasion of 5 million people that have come through our Southern border over the past 3 years! I have to admit, Mr. T. was right about that.

According to the US Debt Clock, US NATIONAL DEBT is $33.4 trillion. However, Total US Debt including unfunded obligations such as Social Security, Medicare, and government pension obligations, is $103 trillion! This situation is likely not to improve unless the politicians manage our country and foreign affairs differently, in a way to reduce the government footprint and costs.

Yes, I know that the $103 trillion debt obligation number seems awesome. kind of like Trump's estimation of his assets until the reality of what the obvious fraudster's assets were worth when he falsely persuaded banks and investors to pony-up extra greenbacks for his various exaggerated endeavors. Pause and consider that if you behaved and conducted business the way Trump and many of our politicians do, you be sent to the slammer. Sorry for those people who love that guy. I always felt that he was, or eventually would become, a white collar criminal. No, I'm not a Democrat; I was a lifelong Republican until G. Bush Jr. and Dick Cheney & company lied about weapons of mass destruction as a pretense to getting into another war (adding more debt) and then, miraculously, Haliburton, which Cheney used to run and apparently had a lot of stock in, was "awarded huge contracts to rebuild Iraq!

As US General Wesley Clark, intimated in numerous speeches and interviews, the Pentagon likely had a pre-planned itinerary to topple the regimes of seven countries, a few weeks "after" 😉, 9/11. Why? Those countries were planning to challenge US Petrodollar by selling oil in their own currency. And, those seven countries did not have a western-style central bank with the Bank of International Settlement (BIS, the bank for central banks) ties. We know for sure that the FBI or the CIA "heard chatter" regarding a planned attack on the World Trade Towers well before it occurred, but supposedly that Intel wasn't communicate across the various US commands and control agencies. I find that hard to believe given all the circumstances around 9/11.

Was it solely a coincidence that real estate tycoon, Larry Silverman, bought the leases to the World Trade center for approx, $ 3.2 billion 8 weeks before 9/11, and also miraculously and luckily purchased double indemnity terrorism insurance? You know, the kind of insurance we all have just in case a rare terrorism event happened to us, so we get paid outlandishly. Double indemnity means you get paid twice as much as the market value of what you insured, should something happen to your property. Propitious timing for an investor and group (look it up) backing him, I'd say!

Several weeks later, the World Trade Towers get hit, and Larry Silverman & company get to collect a quick billion or two profit! Moreover, the US military complex then has a reason for another war to help stop the threat to the US dollar.

Partially because of the US shenanigans for the past 40+ years, the BRICKS Nations and 40 other nations are launching a digital currency supposedly backed by gold: to challenge the dollar. They will utilizing the digital currency to trade between nations thereby circumventing the need to first buy US dollars. The BRICKS currency will very likely reduce the US's power to control their economies, and thus their behaviors. This will likely eventually lead to a relative weaken of the US.

The huge implication is that once the US loses the reserve currency of the world status, the US can't print excessive money at will, without causing massive hyperinflation, with the likely eventual outcome of a financial currency crisis like those famous hyperinflations of Venezuela, Argentina, Zimbabwe, and the Weimar Republic's (Germany 1912-1933) the helped a a guy like Hi**er to stir up a pi**ed off populus and get elected by popular vote and the theme of making Germany great again (sound familiar?). It worked for a while, then massive hubris, led to human tragedy and the murder of millions that he blamed for Germany's problems. That outlandish hubris led to WWII.

Because we can't trust our current two party system's politicians to the right things, I became an Independent. Our two-party system is broken. Both sides are out of control. This is typical of the implosion cycle of past empires, therefore, we need a strong legitimate third-party now, one that functions better than the other two corrupted political parties bought by corporations and large donors. We must get money out of politics, at all cost, or corruption, waste, grifters, and our debt, will continue to escalate until we have our own currency crisis that will destroy our standard of living and cause chaos the likes of which this country's never seen! Our relative per capita GDP would drop 30% to 50% in no time!

Don't think it can't happen to the good old USA. It has likely already begun. It happens to every empire that overextends it's hegemonic military footprint, especially if it leads to our of control deficit spending, and it is then challenged by a new, more efficient, and lower cost manufacturing and/or military power. The world is replete with examples of this occurring over and over again. It is call The Thucydides Trap.

History of rise and fall of empires:
Strong work ethic and higher relative education leads to a nation becoming the world leader in ideas, cultural influence, innovation, inventions, and manufacturing. Then comes military expansion, hubris, excess consumption, the rise of the excess party culture, which leads to over confidence that this will continue, and complacency that leads a "party culture." Then cultural weakness, and a clash of classes which helps foment political infighting, then trade wars with other countries that are modernizing and becoming more efficient. Then, 75% of the time in modern history, this socioeconomic situation leads to hot wars with the country challenger. Usually it's one country challenger. Currently, the main challenge is China. However this time, the US may be dealing with all the BRICKS Nations. Like it or not, the world is lining up on sides. All the result of over confidence in their economic and military, which tends not to last.

Whether it takes 75 years, 233-250 (Fibonacci number area) years, or 500 years, as empire cycles tend to last, eventually, a new empire emerges, and makes the new rules of engagement for the world (or else!). Rinse and repeat, over and over again.

Because of governmental inefficiency, the resulting waste, and our country's focus on a global military for a large part of government spending, the US citizen will never be able to repay our, government's debt with 2023 constant dollars. Therefore, the powers that be in the US will continue to debase the USD over time so that our irresponsible politicians can maybe, just maybe, hope to pay down some of our debt with increasingly worthless fiat money.

As all of the low interest rate US debt rolls over and gets locked in at higher interest rates, US debt services cost will skyrocket! Given today's $33 trillion US debt at 5% would cost the US tax payer $1.65 trillion dollars per year just to service the current debt. It will be $41 trillion in 5 years!

That money is being sucked out of the government coffers, and our pockets, for the never ending monumental spending spree of both political parties trying to stay in power.

See www.Represent.Us, for bipartisan ways to help fix our political system by getting money out of the election process and the re-election process, removing the revolving door between lobbyists and politicians and regulator moving back and forth to the firms that they're supposed to regulate. Impose term limits, etc.

If you care about this country, ✅ www.Represent.Us. Lasting change related to politics tends to only start from the ground up, from grassroots groups.

As a Princeton University study showed, the US voter has a "near zero statistical chance of getting what they want, even if every voter agreed on it!" Conversely, we also have a near statistical zero chance of NOT having something shove down our throats, even if 100% of the voting population are against it!

BOTTOM LINE: Politicians do NOT represent you/us! Guess who they do represent...
