Concert Sundaes

Music and Ice Cream in the Souderton Park Foulke band shell for the benefit of the community. The time seemed ripe for an annual entertainment series.

The Concert Sundaes committee began as a group of Souderton Area residents who met informally over breakfast to discuss ways to utilize the Maurice W. The Centennial Celebration of 1987 had generated a strong interest in arts events, the Souderton-Telford Rotary Club had helped build the beautiful band shell designed by David Zayas, and the Souderton Borough Recreation Board had just purchased a p

ublic address system for the park. The committee was soon adopted by the Souderton Area Community Education Council which provided the committee with much assistance during its first four years. The 2017 season marks the 30th one, with Concert Sundaes now a part of the Indian Valley Arts Foundation, a nonprofit corporation. Together with Community Arts Initiative and the Montgomery County Poet Laureate Program, Concert Sundaes makes up a year-round program of arts education and enrichment for Indian Valley residents of all ages. Concert Sundaes and the Indian Valley Arts Foundation could not bring this quality family entertainment to the Souderton Area without the support of local businesses and residents. We are going out in style tonight with a crowd-favorite; Chico's Vibe! It is (finally!) a beautiful evening, and the Park will be rockin'! You don't want to miss it!

It’s Sunday! That means another day of guessing “Will it rain tonight?!?”.

But tonight’s concert featuring The Wonton Soups deserves to be OUTSIDE, so we will see you at 7pm in Souderton Park! We can’t wait to hear their fresh take on pop, big band, swing, and funky favorites!

Tonight is a special concert featuring the Joseph A. Ferko String Band! We dedicate this concert in honor of our longtime Chair, Marcus Rosenberger who passed away last year. In his more than 30 years booking bands for Concert Sundaes, the Ferko String Band was Marc's absolute favorite!

And today is ! No better way to celebrate than with ice cream (and much more!) served by the good folks at Generations Of Indian Valley.

Get ready to strut with the Mummers tonight in Souderton Park (and pray for sunny skies through 9pm!).

Tonight we welcome for the first time to our stage, East Branch Revival! Americana, Roots Rock, and Honky-Tonk favorites.

Plus hot dogs and ice cream served by Souderton-Telford Rotary.
It will be a beautiful evening at 7pm in Souderton Park!

Nearly since the beginning of Concert Sundaes almost 40 years ago, we've been so lucky to present America's Oldest Concert Band on 4th of July weekend!

Back again for an evening of patriotic songs and John Phillip Sousa marches, we're excited to welcome back The Allentown Band!

Featuring KY3 Show Band and refreshments, including authentic Honduran cuisine, by Help to Help . Bring your dancing shoes! Last year they had the audience on their feet!
