Today is the day to reveal our brewery location!

Greater Purpose Brewing Co. is the proud new owners of East Cliff Brewing Company! To the ECB fans know that all of their popular recipes will be staying on. We cannot honor ECB enough and we deeply appreciate their legacy of great beer and their amazing team. The staff and brew crew is staying on as well. Come say hello Wednesday-Sunday!

We will be remodeling the interior soon! It is going to be awesome!

Here is a reminder that in the next two weeks we will implement a system for charitable donations that will be donated monthly with a portion of our profits.

Save Our Shores, Homeless Garden Project, NAACP Santa Cruz, Planned Parenthood and many other local nonprofit organizations will be optional for each taproom customer to select where they would like their support to go.

Due to unforseen complications with redesigning the space, Greater Purpose Brewing Company will not be going in the old Logos space.

Our budget would have increased 300% and it simply was/is not viable with the funds we wanted to designate for the business.

We got many bids, and redesigned the space several times and every solution inevitably led to problems that were still too expensive to overcome.

Greater Purpose Brewing will definitely be in SC county, though unless something changes it will not be in the Logos building.

We are looking at several other options as we try to sublet Logos.

Send good vibes. We need them. 🍻

Greater Purpose Community Church is building a restaurant and brewery in downtown Santa Cruz! We will be a gathering space for the Santa Cruz community, and 30% to 60% of our profit will go to charities such as Planned Parenthood, the Homeless Garden Project, the Diversity Center, and Save Our Shores. During the week, we'll serve Southern-style comfort food with vegan and vegetarian options. On Sunday, we'll host a Progressive/Liberal church service before opening up the bar and kitchen to the public on Sundays. Like our church, the restaurant/taproom will be open to people of all faiths/no faith, gender, sexual, and ethnic-racial identities.

We have leased the old Logos Bookstore and will be estimating our opening to be summer 2019.
