ool's purpose has been to educate the whole child. Not only do we strive to help children come to know the joy of learning, we also provide a foundation for the emotional and inner development of each child through our Creating Compassionate Cultures (CCC) curriculum. CCC seeks to develop the whole person; as a result, it has the following goals:

• To foster the qualities of loving kindness, compassion, and universal responsibility.

• To cultivate respectful behavior toward all living beings.

• To present a balanced integrated program of learning activities and experiences that addresses the physical, social, emotional, intellectual and spiritual domains of the person.

• To transmit the universal elements of wisdom from different cultures and traditions through an understanding of both the material (external) and spiritual (internal) aspects of reality.

• To develop ethical behavior based on an understanding of the interrelatedness of all phenomena.

• To develop an understanding of:

The nature and functioning of the mind and its projections. The nature and source of emotions and how to work with them.

What a wonderful time we had at our annual Hike 4 Peace last Sunday! Thank you to all who helped raise money for this event. We believe that world peace begins with inner peace and proceeds from this event will support the school and a charity chosen by the students of Tara Redwood☺️
Thank you to all the parents who helped make this such a successful and fun day! From the bake sale, face painting, arts & crafts, raffle, obstacle course, food, yoga and more, we have so much to be grateful for🌈

We celebrated Tara’s annual spring potluck picnic today at Wilder Ranch State Park and it was absolutely wonderful! Families enjoyed spring things like making flower bracelets, visiting with the ranch animals, a treasure hunt, delicious homemade food and spending time outdoors and with each other. There is so much love in our little community 🥰
