If you have ever wanted to fill a blessing box this is the week to do it! Walmart has canned vegetables for .50 and packs of tuna for $1. With snap suspended, please consider donating non perishable canned goods. Our locations are as follows:
The Courthouse
The Library
4-H by livestock pavilion
VFW
Sopchoppy across from the park
Panacea by the “mall”
Shady Sea Baptist
WakullaStation Baptist
Christ Church Anglican
The Senior Center
The Health Dept
The Community Center

You may also drop off food donations at the OperationSanta House, 11 Mimosa. We will be taking applications this coming week

Wakulla Feeding Wakulla organizers do repairs and cleaning on a regular basis.
At least once a year the boxes have to close for a few days for structural repairs.

Non- perishable foods are safer and easier to maintain. Perishable foods brings ants and other insects. When the food spoils and seeps, the boxes have to be to cleaned and repainted.

Most of the time water gets in the boxes because the doors aren’t closed and latched.

Thanks to everyone for all that you do in helping to feed our Community.

We are so thankful for your food donations, however, please refrain from placing bags of beans and peas in the boxes as the bags break or open ( even ziploc) and cause a bug infestation. Thank you for understanding.
