🇺🇸 Warrior Wednesday 🇺🇸
Guardian Moms 22 is proud to honor SPC Kevin Temme, United States Army Veteran, for this week’s Warrior Wednesday recognition.
SPC Temme served our country from 2002–2014 as a 31B Combat Military Police Officer with ASI B4 Sniper designation. During his years of service, he deployed and served in multiple locations around the world including:
▪️ Kuwait – 2003
▪️ Iraq – 2003-2004
▪️ Egypt – 2005
▪️ Germany – 2007-2008 & 2010
▪️ Guantanamo Bay, Cuba – 2013-2014
Throughout his military career, SPC Temme earned 5 combat patches and 3 foreign awards, reflecting his dedication, sacrifice, and distinguished service alongside allied forces around the world.
The photos shared today capture not only Kevin’s military journey, but also his continued commitment to veterans and his community. One image features WWII Marine Corps Raider Frank Write, who was wounded during the Battle of Iwo Jima ,a powerful reminder of the generations of warriors who paved the way before us. Another photo shows Kevin during a sniper training exercise in Iraq, highlighting the demanding realities of combat service.
Additional photos reflect Kevin’s tireless advocacy work after the military, including participating in a Memorial Day event hosted by the American Legion and the City of Stockton alongside Senator McNerney, helping dedicate funding for a monument outside the new VA Hospital, and celebrating the grand opening of the Homeless Veterans Center with Congressman Harder, Mayor Lincoln, DA Freitas, and Councilman Canepa.
Following his military service, Kevin continued serving others as a Firefighter, EMT, California Department of Corrections officer, and now as an Executive Protection Agent in the private sector. He has also volunteered as a youth volleyball coach, served as National Secretary for a Veterans Motorcycle Club, and became Commander of the American Legion in Stockton where he helped pave the way for the new VA Hospital and homeless veterans housing complex.
Kevin’s story is one of courage, leadership, and lifelong service to both country and community.
Thank you, SPC Kevin Temme, for your sacrifices and for continuing to fight for veterans and their families long after your military service ended. 🇺🇸
