Tuolumne County Transportation Safety Survey
Tuolumne County, in coordination with Fehr & Peers, is developing a Comprehensive Safety Action Plan through the Safe Streets and Roads for All (SS4A) program. As part of this effort, the County is seeking input from the public regarding transportation safety concerns throughout Tuolumne County.

The County has developed a Transportation Safety Survey to gather input on locations where transportation safety concerns have been experienced or observed. The information received will help identify areas of concern and establish transportation safety priorities as part of the Comprehensive Safety Action Plan.

Community members are encouraged to participate and share the survey with others who may wish to provide input.

Please submit responses by 5:00 p.m. on October 9, 2026.

The Community Roots Resource Network & Health Fair is tomorrow! It's free and full of information, resources, and assistance for everyone.

"Tuolumne County has always had an extraordinary network of nonprofit organizations, public agencies, churches, service clubs, volunteers and individuals willing to help their neighbors. One of our challenges isn’t necessarily a lack of resources. Sometimes it is simply making sure people know those resources exist and helping them find the right door to walk through. ... There should be no embarrassment in asking for help when circumstances change. Throughout our lives, most of us will experience times when we are able to help others and times when we may need a little help ourselves. That is not a weakness. It is one of the reasons communities exist."

- Darrell Slocum, CEO Sonora Area Foundation
