SUSC Skills Camp still has spots! Highly suggest registering ASAP to make sure to get a camp jersey and a spot for this fun and a more focused camp. This camp will train the sessions based on SUSC's style of play and its game model. This SUSC camp complements and extends beyond the One Soccer Camp that is currently in session. Both are great camps that help develop a more well-rounded soccer player!

Register before July 1st for the SUSC Skills Camp! There's still plenty of room but likely will fill as we get to the deadline. To secure a camp jersey and a spot in the camp, players will need to register on or before July 1st.

For more information and to register, visit our website at https://tcysoccer.org/soccer-camps -camp-2026 or scan the QR code on the flyer.

Our touchline behavior has to improve this season. This upcoming season we now have 108 Rec League Teams and 13 Club teams, this is the most ever! With this many additional teams we'll need more referees to officiate them. We struggle to find and recruit referees every year because of what this article describes. Many of our referees don't come back because they don't want to be verbally abused by hostile and distractive parents, they're done after one fall season, sometimes done after one game!

All of our referees are our local soccer friends and family. They are either Rec League or SUSC players, SUSC Coaches, TCYS Board members, and several others are all-around football lovers who want to make sure kids get to play soccer! So if you're hollering and making a commotion at one of them because you've become emotionally unregulated, then you're hollering at our soccer community and our family. Stop and think about that.

This article from soccerparenting.com paints a real picture on how hostile and distractive behavior affects referees and players who are both learning the game, and it's not easy as you think it is while sitting in the shade on your folding chair at the midline and a call is made on the other side of the field. Us parents must show them the support they need to learn, make mistakes, and succeed as much as we show our youth players. This article makes it clear on how and what we can do. Please read.

Hi TCYS Families,
We still need more team sponsors! Currently, only 47 of our 108 teams have secured sponsorships. We have extended the sponsorship deadline to June 19th.

If you know of a local business, organization, or individual who would like to support youth soccer in our community, please share the sponsorship link below: https://www.tcysoccer.org/sponsorships

Sponsorships help keep registration costs down for our players and support the continued growth of our program.

Thank you for helping make a difference for our TCYS athletes! βš½οΈπŸ’™πŸ’›

Sponsorships support kids to play soccer! Sponsors are able to provide funds to support four specific areas of the recreation soccer program. Sponsorships can be applied to player fees, coach recognition, team recognition with name on jerseys, and banners to support a critical cause.

All us parents are part of their development both on and off the pitch. Are you a supportive touchline parent? How do you know? www.soccerparenting.com is a great resource to self-evaluate if you are πŸ˜‰βš½οΈ.

⚽ Parents play a bigger role in youth sports than they often realize.

The way we communicate, support, and respond on the sidelines can shape a child’s confidence, motivation, and love for the game. πŸ’™

At Soccer Parenting, we believe educated and supportive parents help create healthier, more positive experiences for young athletes both on and off the field.

Because youth soccer should be about growth, enjoyment, resilience, and lifelong development not just results.
