Our Ranch and Learning Center are located in the Shaw’s Flat area of Sonora, on 5 flat acres in a quiet secluded area away from traffic and noise. Our facility houses a year round classroom, state of the art ‘safe’ fencing, a family picnic area, community victory garden, and seasonal creek with over 50 mature Valley Oaks.
MDC Ranch provides at-risk youth a safe, educational and recreational experience to enrich their physical, emotional and social development.
Classes are 30-90 minutes customized to the individual, always with emphasis on safety. Each student has an experienced equine assistant to supervise and assist with their session.
