We live in a time where most of us have, unfortunately, been impacted by cancer in some way.
Wether it be something you have experienced personally or a family member or friend, maybe as a carer or your line of work.
In any case we all need support of some kind.
That’s what we at Cancer Bravehearts intend to provide for our community.
If you’d like to join us, I’d love to hear from you.
It is our sole intention to offer a safe and comfortable environment for you to enjoy the company of others who have some knowledge of your experiences.

“I want to start a nonprofit!”

COOL! Now, do you know that once you start it, you don’t “own” it? What the heck is a nonprofit, anyway?

BLESS YOU, for having that passion to step in and step up! You are dearly needed. So, are your ready? You will form a Public Benefit Corporation in California, and then apply for tax-exempt status. What is the problem you wish to help solve? Do you actually need to form a nonprofit organization to do so? Do you have people to serve on your Board? Do you have the required filing fees? What’s your plan? How will you raise revenue? No, grant money will NOT magically fall from the sky into your pocket!

Sierra NonProfit Services is here to help nonprofits help themselves...to help with all that P.I.T.A, unsexy stuff that needs to happen so you can do the community work you want to do, that sexy stuff-- To make sure all the filing is done correctly, the accounting is done correctly, the Board is truly working together effectively...yeah, sometimes that stuff is just a pain and not at all what’s fun.
