Team Jax In loving memory of Jaxson Christ 2014-2023. DIPG Fighter. On Tuesday June 13 at 2:30 p.m.

On June 10, 2023 Jaxson Christ and his dad Jeremy Christ went to prompt care for what we thought was a normal case of pink eye or an eye irritation that had lingered too long. Our jokes of Jaxson letting someone fart on his pillow quickly became a sickening wait game of unknown tests and a storm of doctors that provided little information. After 6 hours at the local hospital Jaxson was transported to Oaklands Children's Hospital, where he underwent more tests and examinations by multiple other doctors. Sunday June 11 at 9:00 a.m., Jeremy and Stacey were given the absolute worst news any parent could receive. Jaxson had a tumor growing which was located on his Brainstem, the pressure from the tumor was the cause of his irritated eye. The doctors stated more tests would be performed and to just sit tight, Jeremy, Stacey and other close family did their best to entertain Jaxson, who has all his energy and boy spirit, despite this discovery . the clinical diagnosis was provided and we were informed that Jaxson has DIPG ( Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) a type of brain tumor found in an area of the brainstem known as the pons. Jaxson treatment plan is still under review with his medical team and we are hopeful to have an understanding of the treatments Jaxson will need to immediately begin by Tuesday June 20, 2023. Our goal with this page is to have updates easily accessible to friends and family. In addition to being able to share fundraiser information with friends and family and community, in hopes of providing for The Christ family to allow them peace of mind to focus on Jaxson's treatment and recovery.

What a Saturday we had!

The Cruisin' for Jax event was everything we hoped for and more. We are incredibly grateful to every single person who attended and made the months of planning, hard work, and dedication worthwhile. Because of your support, we are honored to be able to present our nominee and her family with the proceeds this week and provide them with a little relief during a difficult time.

We know everyone is eager to hear the final numbers, and we promise to share them as soon as all calculations have been completed.

We would like to extend a huge thank you to our sponsors for helping make this event possible. Your generosity and support played a tremendous role in its success.

We also want to recognize the amazing friends who dedicated three full days of their time, making countless trips to Kennedy Meadows to help set up and ensure we had everything we needed, both big and small.

A special thank you goes to Jim and Eileene Dambacher for the incredible beans and for allowing us to use the BBQ. To our weekend BBQ chefs, Rod Price, Mick Price, and Randy Martin, thank you for serving up some of the best BBQ we've had in a long time. And thank you to Lisa Price for making sure every detail at camp was taken care of.

We are also grateful to Aimee Dambacher, Sandra Lattin and Brandon for being there every step of the way on Saturday, making sure extra hands were available wherever needed. Thanks to all of these wonderful people, the event ran flawlessly.

We would also like to give a special thank you to Bella and Kristiana for taking the time to video the cruise from different locations along the route. Seeing the cruise from the outside perspective was something we otherwise would have missed, and we loved being able to experience the event through your videos. Thank you for helping us capture those special moments and memories that we will cherish for years to come.

A huge thank you also goes to Tom and the staff at Kennedy Meadows Baker Campground for allowing us to take over and host such a special event. Your hospitality, support, and willingness to accommodate our group made it possible for us to bring everyone together in a beautiful place to celebrate Jax, raise awareness for childhood illness, and support a deserving family. We truly appreciate everything you did to help make the day a success.

The biggest thank you of all goes to Jeremy. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate Jax, honor his memory, continue living life to the fullest, and spend the day doing exactly what he loved. Because of you, we were able to have the "Best Day Ever" while celebrating an incredible boy who touched so many lives.

Jax continues to bring people together and reminds us that even in life's hardest and ugliest moments, we can choose to create something beautiful. We miss him every single day and never want to forget the life he lived, the joy he shared, and the love he gave so freely. It was truly special to give so many people a glimpse of his happiness.

Thank you all for helping us honor Jax's memory, bring awareness to childhood illness, and recognize the village it takes to support families through those difficult journeys.

We hope you'll join us again next year as we continue celebrating Jax and making a difference, one family at a time. ❤️
