Tryouts for U9–U14 are just around the corner, time to show up and stand out.

📅 Tryout Dates:
• May 3
• May 9
• May 17

⏰ Important: Locations and time slots vary for each day. Please check the registration page for full details.

🔁 Important Update – Grade-Pure Teams
Starting with the 2026–27 season, U.S. Soccer is shifting youth age groups from a calendar year to a school-year (Aug 1–July 31) format. Please refer to the Age Group slide for details on what age group your child(ren) fall into.

📝 What to Bring:
• Water
• Cleats
• Shinguards

🚫 Tryout Rules:
• No SVU gear or team uniforms
• All players must be registered to try out — no exceptions

🔥 U17’s with a 3-1 win in State Cup Quarterfinals!

Sonoma opened in the first three minutes with a goal by Lucile Vivier. Manteca equalized just before half. Four minutes into the second half Amelia Bell scored a left footed shot from outside the box. Ten minutes later, Sarahi Guerrero received a rebound outside the box, finishing over the keepers head, similar to Amelia’s.

Defensively the team played as one, denying any further chances in the second half.

Girls face Solano Surf on May 9th in Davis for the semi-finals!

Big moment for Sonoma Valley United 🙌⚽️

Jacob Perez and José “Pancho” León have been selected to the (EA) Talent ID National Team and will compete at the prestigious Mediterranean International Cup (MIC) in Spain (March 31–April 4).

Out of 6,500 players at the EA Winter Florida Event, these two stood out, an incredible achievement for them and our community. They’ll face international competition from Spain, Switzerland, and Norway on the Costa Brava.

We couldn’t be more proud. Let’s go, Jacob & Pancho! 🇺🇸🔥

Sonoma Valley United, along with the North Bay Soccer community, are mourning the loss of a beloved coach.

Marcus Ziemer impacted countless lives through the game of soccer. A true legend of youth soccer in Northern California and at the collegiate level at Sonoma State.

He was more than a coach, he was a father figure, a mentor, and a friend who helped shape generations of players and coaches.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched. Rest easy, Coach 🕊️

Train, compete, and get inspired alongside Bay FC players Joelle Anderson, Emmie Allen, and Maddie Moreau

👯‍♀️ Ages U8-U17

Players will build confidence while working on dribbling, shooting, passing, and game play, all in a supportive, girls-focused environment.
