🎶 Live Music at Today & Together! 🎶

What a special afternoon we had at Today & Together! We were thrilled to welcome Jon Chi, a talented Marin County-based singer-songwriter, guitarist, and producer whose music blends Americana, soul, and rock. Jon’s music has received radio play and has even been featured on NPR’s All Things Considered. (My Site⁠)

Our participants absolutely loved his performance! ❤️ There were smiles, singing, dancing, and so much wonderful energy throughout the room. Music has such an incredible way of bringing people together, sparking memories, and creating moments of pure joy—and today was a perfect example of that.

A huge thank you to Jon Chi for sharing his time and talent with our Today & Together family. We can’t wait to have you back! 🎸🎶💙

🎹 Music, Movement & Joy at Today & Together! 🎶💃

What a wonderful afternoon at Today & Together! Our participants enjoyed a fun and engaging music lesson on the keyboard with our amazing volunteer, Carol. Everyone had the opportunity to explore the keys, make music, and enjoy learning together.

After our lesson, we turned up the music and got on our feet to dance! 💃🕺 There were smiles, laughter, and plenty of great moves around the room.

Moments like these remind us how powerful music can be—bringing people together, sparking memories, encouraging movement, and creating pure joy. ❤️

Our participants explored the photography of Paul McCartney. His photographs capture the rise of Beatlemania from the unique perspective of one of the Beatles. Participants shared their own memories of the Beatles and reflected on the band’s lasting impact on music and culture.

🎶 Volunteer Appreciation Spotlight 🎶

A special thank you to our newest volunteer, Pat Noel!

Pat joined us this week and has already brought so much joy to Today & Together through the gift of music. Whether playing the piano, guitar, or harp, or sharing his beautiful singing voice, Pat has created meaningful moments and smiles for our participants.

We are incredibly grateful for all of our volunteers. Their time, talents, and compassion help make our program a warm and welcoming community each day. Simply put, we couldn’t do what we do without them.

Gather in the Garden hosted by Vintage House was truly one of the most beautiful events I’ve attended in a long time. 🌿✨

As a proud sponsor, Today & Together had the opportunity to participate in an afternoon filled with live music, dancing, incredible food, and breathtaking scenery. What made the day even more special was being able to bring one of our participants and their spouse to enjoy the experience alongside one of our amazing volunteers, who has been going above and beyond helping us recruit and support volunteers in our community.

Events like these are a wonderful reminder of the power of community, and creating meaningful moments together. Thank you to Vintage House for hosting such a memorable event and for all you do to support older adults in Sonoma Valley.

One of the many things that makes Today & Together so special is the incredible campus we are surrounded by — giving our participants the opportunity to enjoy peaceful group walks, nature, conversation, and moments of joy together.

These simple moments of connection, engagement, and purpose are what Today & Together is all about. ❤️
