Buona Festa - party on without me today.

Today is “La Festa della Liberazione” or Liberation Day in Italy!

It is also often simply referred to as 25 aprile, and this national holiday in Italy commemorates the end of World War II and the N**i occupation of Italy. The liberation was accomplished largely by the American and British armies. It’s a public holiday across Italy, with government offices and schools closed and lots of festivities, flags, and parades!
