The International Day of Peace, sometimes officially known as World Peace Day, is a United Nations-sanctioned holiday observed annually on 21 September. It is dedicated to world peace, and specifically the absence of war and violence, such as might be occasioned by a temporary ceasefire in a combat zone for humanitarian aid access. The day was first celebrated in 1981, and is kept by many nations, political groups, military groups, and people. In 2013 the day was dedicated by the Secretary-General of the United Nations to peace education, the key preventive means to reduce war sustainably.

I encourage you to support the United Nations' call for a full day of global ceasefire on 21 September by observing the day in spiritual contemplation for peace, global ceasefire and nonviolence with other members of your community and/or the broader interfaith community.
Each year the International Day of Peace is observed around the world on 21 September. The General Assembly has declared this as a day devoted to strengthening the ideals of peace, both within and among all nations and peoples. Holly Stephey

Every Moment Spent In Peace And Stillness Builds And Strengthens You

Understand the importance and need for these times of complete stillness to enable you to re-adjust yourselves. Every soul needs them to help them get their values right. Every moment spent in that peace and stillness builds and strengthens you so you can take the knocks of the world without being crushed by them. You can see them as character building. You realise your need for Me, that without Me you are nothing but with Me you can do all things and can face anything in life without flinching. With that inner joy in your heart the whole world looks completely different. You realise that everything you have is a gift from Me, you recognise My hand in everything and your heart sings a song of constant thanksgiving.
