Day Three Video

Day Three: The forecast was for rain. We had none!!! It was a lovely day and a new child joined us. Two little girls that couldn't come yesterday were feeling well enough to come and enjoyed the craft and at the end, helping with chicken coup. Traditional Transylvanian Bean Soup with chicken was made- DELICIOUS, but everything Eniko makes is :-).

The children are excited because tomorrow after camp, we will be picking up the chickens!!! Of course now that Agape House has chickens, the children are asking for a dog to watch over them.

The children all stayed later today and didn't want to leave! Cole Sansone was fine with the extra help, because tomorrow is forecasted for rain and it needs to be finished. Yikes.

Lindsey Walthard and Rózsa Enikő both showed off their soccer skills with the little ones.

In the spirit of the World Cup, each family went home with a country soccer ball. We had turkey and cheese sandwiches for late afternoon snack, with 🍊 and a Barni.

It was a good day. Everyday is a good day went spent in the company of good people.

Today was day two of camp. More beautiful children, lots of laughter, and great progress on the chicken group. Our young builders are proud of their hard work, as they should be! Eniko made mash potatoes and sausage with the children. Our handwork skill focus on sewing, and there was soccer fun at the end of the day. Each child went home with a sandwich, fruit and chose a TY stuffy. Watching them choose one told more about their personalities.

Once home, we shopped for tomorrow, inflated soccer balls (tomorrow's gift treat), pack sanitation bags for Wednesday, and made sandwiches. Oh, we did take a walk and Lindsey found stray cats and dogs to feed 💕.
