PLACE. Wiley's Wish is a female and Veteran operated 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization saving dogs facing euthanasia at high-kill shelters due to the overcrowding crisis in California. Since 2021, we have rescued, rehabilitated and placed over 1,000 dogs into loving, happy forever homes. Since 2022, we have successfully trained and AKC/CGC certified over 350 dogs via our proprietary

prison resident/rescue dog training initiative, PAWS OF HOPE. We are a proud, all-breed, all size, all color, all age, all energy level rescue. From two-pound Chihuahuas to one hundred eighty pound Great Danes, we rescue the abandoned, discarded, abused and forgotten and gift them second chances at life and love. We rehabilitate our rescues with exceptional medical care. We spay/neuter and bring current their vaccine, Rabies, flea and tick preventatives. We ensure proper care for long, healthy lives. To ensure our rescues are setup for success as canine good citizens, they are enrolled in our proprietary inmate/rescue dog training initiative, PAWS of HOPE. Under the direction of our in-house AKC certified trainers and behaviorists, our rescues undergo a three month training program and graduate with their AKC/CGC certifications. Finally, we thoroughly interview and vet all adopters to ensure the perfect fit and forever homes. We do right by every dog we save for the duration of their lives. 🎉 Happiest Adoption Update for Our Boy Thor! 🎉

Thor is officially adopted, and we truly couldn't have found a better match for him. These two shared a special connection from the very first time they met.

Thor was rescued from Oakdale Animal Shelter as just a young pup and began his journey in our Second Chance K9 Program, where he met his best friend and trainer, Jose. Together, they worked through life's lessons, built an incredible bond, and prepared Thor for the future we always hoped he would have. While we secretly knew Jose didn't want to see Thor leave, we are so proud and grateful for the dedication, love, and hard work he put into helping Thor become the amazing dog he is today.

Thank you, Jose, for investing your time, heart, and commitment into Thor and making this adoption possible. And to Carmen, thank you for opening your heart and home to our sweet boy. We know Thor has found exactly where he belongs.

We will be forever grateful for everyone who played a part in his journey. Happy tails, Thor! We will miss your smile, your goofy personality, and your sweet face every single day, but nothing makes us happier than knowing you've found your forever home. ❤️🐾

Spa day for Vida! 🛁✨

How is no one missing this sweet girl? She is incredibly calm, gentle, and trusting, especially considering she appears to have been out on her own for quite some time.

Today we got all of her mats brushed out, gave her a much-needed bath, and now she's smiling, feeling fresh, and looking absolutely beautiful. ❤️

A huge thank you to Top Dog Pet Wash for helping us pamper Vida and make her feel comfortable. We are so grateful for your support!

Picked up at Choice Market in Fresno… is this your pup?

Store employees told us this sweet girl has been hanging around in the heat for weeks. A good Samaritan brought her to our attention today, and with temperatures reaching 106°, we knew we couldn't leave her out there.

For now, we've named her Vida, and she is safe, cool, and decompressing in the AC.

If this is your dog, or if you recognize her and know who she belongs to, please reach out to us as soon as possible. We would love to reunite her with her family if they are looking for her.

In the meantime, Vida will be getting plenty of love, rest, and care while we work to find her owners.
