PLACE. Wiley's Wish is a female and Veteran operated 501(c)(3) non-profit animal rescue organization saving dogs facing euthanasia at high-kill shelters due to the overcrowding crisis in California. Since 2021, we have rescued, rehabilitated and placed over 1,000 dogs into loving, happy forever homes. Since 2022, we have successfully trained and AKC/CGC certified over 350 dogs via our proprietary
prison resident/rescue dog training initiative, PAWS OF HOPE. We are a proud, all-breed, all size, all color, all age, all energy level rescue. From two-pound Chihuahuas to one hundred eighty pound Great Danes, we rescue the abandoned, discarded, abused and forgotten and gift them second chances at life and love. We rehabilitate our rescues with exceptional medical care. We spay/neuter and bring current their vaccine, Rabies, flea and tick preventatives. We ensure proper care for long, healthy lives. To ensure our rescues are setup for success as canine good citizens, they are enrolled in our proprietary inmate/rescue dog training initiative, PAWS of HOPE. Under the direction of our in-house AKC certified trainers and behaviorists, our rescues undergo a three month training program and graduate with their AKC/CGC certifications. Finally, we thoroughly interview and vet all adopters to ensure the perfect fit and forever homes. We do right by every dog we save for the duration of their lives.
