Week 1 of KOSC Advanced Camp is off to a great start! ☀️🎣🎯

Beautiful weather, fish being caught, bullseyes being hit, and some impressive shot groups on the range. We’ve loved the focus, enthusiasm, and positive attitudes this group has brought to camp.

Looking forward to an incredible rest of the summer!

- BEGINNER CAMP

A safe, supportive place for kids to begin their Hunter Education journey.

Every outdoorsman, hunter, conservationist, and leader starts somewhere. At KOSC, campers learn through hands-on experiences guided by experienced instructors and positive role models.

Campers work toward their Hunter Education Certification (test at the end) while learning firearm safety, archery, conservation, outdoor responsibility, and foundational marksmanship skills — alongside fishing, camp activities, cabin life, and new friendships.

For many families, this is a camper’s first overnight camp experience, and we deeply value the trust that comes with that.

At KOSC, campers are grouped by age but grow based on readiness. Some move faster, some take their time, and many repeat levels as they build real confidence and skill.

Each summer builds on the last, helping campers grow in outdoor skills, independence, and maturity. By the end of the Outdoor Explorer Program, they’re not just more experienced—they’re more prepared.
