The Moon Mountain District Winegrowers Association is dedicated to the promotion of the wine, vineyards, vintners and wineries of the Moon Mountain District, Sonoma County. The Moon Mountain District is an American Viticuluture Area that spans 17,000 acres of mountainous terrain on the western slope of the Mayacamas mountains from 400 feet elevation to the ridgeline between Sonoma Valley and Napa

Valley. Vineyards in this region are renowned for rocky, volcanic soil, high elevations and western exposure.
