Sonoma Garden Park is a 6.1 acre working farm, center of education, and public park. We are open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week.

A project of the Sonoma Ecology Center, Sonoma Garden Park provides a beautiful, natural environment with educational opportunities for both adults and children. The property was a gift from Pauline Bond, schoolteacher and a gardener, to the City of Sonoma. Sonoma Ecology Center has developed the property and maintains it to promote sustainable garden & farming practices in the community.

Join us Saturday, October 17 for our Fall Native Plant Sale!

Add beauty, habitat, and a little more life to your garden with 50+ pollinator-friendly, drought-tolerant California native perennials, shrubs, and trees–perfect for creating a garden that supports the birds, bees, butterflies and other wildlife that call Sonoma home.

This is one of only two times per year that our Native Plant Nursery is open on the weekend! The Native Plant Sale is happening at the same time as Sonoma Garden Park's Saturday Harvest Market–so you can shop for your garden and your table at the same time!

Mark your calendars and help us spread the word–every plant sold supports our community pollinators, fire resilience, and Sonoma Ecology Center's environmental restoration work throughout Sonoma Valley.

That's a wrap on the 2026 Harvest Festival!

What a beautiful day of community. Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate the autumn season with us–neighbors, families, volunteers, vendors, community partners, and everyone who helped make the day so special.

From connecting with friends and neighbors to celebrating local food, music, nature-based activities, and the people who care for our community, Harvest Festival was a wonderful reminder of what can grow when we come together.

Thank you for showing up, sharing the joy, and making Sonoma Garden Park such a vibrant place for our community. We're already looking forward to next year!

Today’s the day! We can’t wait to celebrate with you in just a few short hours.

A few helpful reminders:

🚲 Onsite parking is limited, so in the spirit of sustainability we strongly encourage you to carpool/bike/rollerblade your way to the festival! If you are driving, take 7th street East to Denmark street where our parking team will direct you.

🎵 The Harvest Festival stage goes live at 10:00 am with the youth poetry pop-up, followed by Jack Hines & Adam Traum, Randy Cook, Cliff Zyskowski and Eric Joost, and the Gill Brothers Band closes us out at 2:00 pm

📸 Snap a photo at the Harvest Festival Photo Booth, and tag Sonoma Ecology Center and Sonoma Garden Park

🐾 Please help us keep people and farm animals safe, and leave your dogs at home.

Arrive to the Harvest Festival in style—ride your bicycle!

Parking at the festival is very limited, so we invite those who are able to bike or carpool to Sonoma Garden Park on October 3. It's gentler on the earth, kind to our neighbors, and means you spend less time navigating parking and more time enjoying the festivities!

Besides, can you name better Saturday plans than a leisurely bicycle ride in Sonoma, followed by an afternoon of dancing, good food, and celebration at your favorite community park? Didn't think so!

Whatever your mode of transportation, we can't wait to see you on October 3 at the garden park.
