WOODSBORO HIGH
CLASS OF ’96 REUNION
Friday, October 30, 7:00 PM → Saturday, October 31, 7:00 AM · Andrews Hall & beyond · 18+ · $375

Thirty years ago these halls played Woodsboro High. For one night, a small number of people get to stay in them after dark.

The evening opens with the 7:00 PM screening. When the film ends and everyone else goes home, you don’t. You are locked in the building until morning.

Wander the hallways after midnight. Trade stories with other fans. Stay upright on the all-night caffeine stations. Chef G cooks a Killer Breakfast before you check out.

Every overnight guest gets a commemorative swag made only for this event. None of it will ever be sold to the public.

THIS IS BEING OFFERED ONCE, FOR THE 30TH ANNIVERSARY. THERE ARE NO PLANS TO DO IT AGAIN.

Did you know we offer art classes at Jack London State Historic Park ? Instructor Hannah Day meets students in the parking lot and the group goes from there. Our next session is Saturday, August 8, beginning at 10 am and the focus is on tree drawing in mixed media.
Register on our website.

In this one-day workshop, participants will learn and practice foundational drawing techniques while sketching the beautiful trees at Jack London State Park. Each student will choose a tree to draw, and then spend time rendering their subject while receiving instruction in proportion and other key drawing skills.

Once students have an established drawing, they will explore the light and shadow on their tree with inventive colors in watercolor. Practice and build your observational drawing skills, spend time in nature, and have fun with color!

Discover the meditative benefits of a plein air art practice, and gain a deeper appreciation for the natural world around you through close observation and intentional rendering. No prior drawing experience necessary; beginners welcome. All materials are provided and all experience and skill levels are welcome!

After the workshop, you may choose to go hiking, tour the museum, or walk to the ruins of the Wolf House.

Important note: There is a Vehicle Entry Fee of $15. After the kiosk, veer to the right and proceed to the parking lot. All students will meet the instructor in the parking lot and walk together to the workshop area. Dress for the weather and bring a water bottle and snacks or a bag lunch.
