Sonoita Company Receives Grant

Sonoita Company recently received a grant of $30K specifically for the purchase of up-to-date radios and ballistic vests for its members. The grant funding, from the Legacy Foundation of Southeast Arizona was approved on December 9, 2024. The Funds were received on January 9, 2025, at the Legacy Foundation headquarters in Sierra Vista, AZ by Capt. Bart Lawrence (Company Commander), Maj. Ron Gold (Emeritus Ranger), and Capt. George Grove (Emeritus Ranger). The photo shows the presentation with (L-R) Board Chair Michael Groves; CEO of the Foundation Margaret Hepburn; and Philanthropy Committee Chair Polly Gosa; Capt. B. Lawrence; Emeritus Ranger R. Gold; and Emeritus Ranger G. Grove.
