THIS is GFWC IL Somonauk Junior Woman’s Club and we are proud members!!
Come join us and be a part of something amazing!!

One hundred and thirty-six years ago, on April 24th, 1890, 63 women from 17 states across the country formally adopted the constitution of the newly-formed General Federation of Women’s Clubs.

Their commitment to each other paved the way for the immeasurable impact clubwomen have had on the world. Today, we celebrate the founding of the General Federation of Women's Clubs and the incredible members who dedicate their lives to serving others.

Our club met on Monday at The Country Kitchen and we have some great plans in the works!
The most exciting one is our Daddy Daughter Dance is coming back in the fall!! Yay!! Watch for details.
Other plans in the works is community service projects such as contributing items to Open Door Rehab and also to the local domestic violence shelters.
We will meet again on Monday May 18 at 6pm at The Country Kitchen.
Come meet with us. We need more members to make these and all of our projects a success and we would love to meet you and have you join us.

Come take a break this Wednesday (12/17) at The Country Kitchen at 6:00-7:30. Have a beverage and snacks. Meet the Somonauk Junior Women and see what we have done for YOUR community.
We are building our membership and looking for more women to join us!

We had a nice visit at our Fall Social on Wednesday.
There will NOT be a social in November so we can all enjoy family and holiday time.

Our next social will be Wednesday, December 17 at The Country Kitchen at 6:00pm. It will be a Christmas Social.
