Back-to-back welcome back events tomorrow August 25th at SHS.

Stop by the SHS 4:00-6:00 for the Somerville Family Learning Collaborative's Citywide Back to School Fair. This is an opportunity to meet families and school community members from across the district, and participate in the SFLC's gift basket raffle giveaway. At 6:00PM there will be an SHS welcome event for families with 9th graders, where school admin will provide an overview of SHS resources, protocols, etc.

Friends of the Somerville Public Library Spring Book Sale, Saturday, June 13th (9:15 AM – 3:00 PM) & Sunday, June 14th (1:15 PM – 3:00 PM), Somerville Central Library, 79 Highland Ave. They will have a wide selection of children’s books, fiction, nonfiction, non-English language books, puzzles, and more. Proceeds from the sale directly benefit the library's public programming and provide funded cultural passes for the community. More information here:

The Class of 2029 Class Officers are creating a t-shirt fundraiser to sell to its class members and their parents. They plan to hold a competition among students for a t-shirt design. Then they will order the t-shirts. In the meantime, they're gauging interest level in t-shirt purchase via this google form:

Pre-prom party call for volunteers, Thursday, May 21stat SHS, starting at 2:30PM: There will be a red carpet event leading up to the Seniors’ 5:30PM prom departure.
