WHCIS Field Day is Friday May 29!

Alongside our regular Field Day festivities, we will be running a fun, community-centered fundraiser focused on participation rather than competition. Students will complete their Wildcat Passport by collecting stamps as they rotate through Field Day stations.

Most exciting of all, fundraising proceeds will help bring the Ninja Ice Cream Truck to THIS year’s Field Day celebration so every Wildcat can enjoy a special treat together. The truck offers many allergy-friendly options, including gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free, peanut-free, dairy-free, sugar-free, and vegan choices.

Families have the opportunity to sponsor a student’s Wildcat Passport through a donation of any amount. This is also a wonderful opportunity for grandparents, extended family, friends, neighbors, and other supporters to show their support for our students and school community.

Sponsorships are simply a way for families to support both students and the broader school community. No donation is required for any student to participate in the Wildcat Passport Challenge, enjoy the ice cream celebration, or take part in Field Day, which will remain, as always, completely free and open to all students.

Contributions help fund enrichment opportunities, school events, and memorable experiences that make days like Field Day possible for all Wildcats.

This is the last fundraiser for the 25-26 school year. Thank you for all of your support!

PLUS- our own Ms Stier and the Goonie Birds will be playing family friendly folk music from 4-6 PM @ 9 Sellon Place.

Teacher Appreciation Week started today! And we are, yes, BANANAS for our WHCIS teachers! B-A-N-A-N-A-S !! You’re all welcome for the reminder of that banger of a song and that it’s over 20 years old.

Anyway, big shoutout to Neighborhood Produce Davis Square Donuts and Bagels and Michette Bakery for contributing delicious items! Patronize these amazing local businesses please 🙂

Good afternoon!

As you may have seen if you’re in the email Google Group (and if you’re not and would like to be feel free to reply or DM this account!).

Teacher Appreciation Week starts on Monday, 5/4 through Friday, 5/8.

Here is what we have planned:
Monday- Breakfast
Tuesday- Ice cream, popsicles, seltzers and soda
Thursday- Winter Hill pencil pouches filled with candy and a paw print bookmark

The school administration will be providing lunch on Wednesday and snacks on Friday.

Here is where we could use your help...
On Wednesday, 5/6 after school and Thursday, 5/7 before school we would like for as many students and families as possible to "chalk the walk" with messages of appreciation for our staff. If anyone has sidewalk chalk to lend/give could you let us know? This will help to estimate how much we need to purchase.
