The Union Square Neighborhood Council is excited to invite local organizations, nonprofits, artists, makers, volunteers, and neighbors to join us for our upcoming Kickball Connect Community Event! It’s Saturday, May 30 at Lincoln Park starting at 2:30pm.
We’re putting together a fun, welcoming community day centered around a kickball tournament, neighborhood connection, and local organizations coming together in one shared space.
The event will include:
• A community kickball tournament
• Local nonprofit and community tables
• Art-making and banner activities
• “Tell Your Story” conversations
• Trivia, raffles, and games
• Popsicles and refreshments
• Opportunities for neighbors to meet and connect
We would love to have your organization involved! Whether you’d like to host a table, share resources, promote upcoming programs, volunteer or simply come hang out and support the community - we’d be excited to have you join us. This event is meant to be informal, collaborative, and community-driven. Bring materials if you’d like, or just bring yourselves.
Kickball registration is also open at linktr.ee/usnc2017. It’s $25 per team (minimum 7 players, maximum 15 players per team; at least 2 women and 2 men per team; one member designated as captain) or $5 if you’d like to individually sign up and form/join a team on game-day.
Please feel free to share this with other community groups, neighborhood organizations, artists, and residents who may want to participate.
