Niños de Veracruz (NdV) was founded at Lasell College in Newton, MA in 2003 by a group of students who had traveled down to Veracruz, Mexico and decided that they wanted to do something to help. They started NdV, a 501 (c) 3 organization, to raise money for scholarships and microloans.T oday, the non-profit distributes approximately $10,000 annually in the form of scholarships and no-interest loans.
