The City is reconstructing Pearl St. from McGrath Highway to Mount Vernon St. to improve safety, quality, and accessibility. See final designs at the pop-up event Friday, June 10, from 2 to 4:30 p.m. on the corner of Glen St. & Pearl St. For more information visit: somervillema.gov/pearlstreet.

Last night the CDC raised the COVID-19 Community Level for all of Middlesex County to HIGH. The CDC and the Somerville Health Department strongly recommend these prevention tips while community levels are high:

- Wear a mask indoors in public
- Stay up to date with COVID-19 vaccines
-Get tested if you have symptoms
-Stay home if sick or recently exposed
-Additional precautions may be needed for people at high risk for severe illness

Free masks are available at multiple City and participating Somerville CVS locations. If you have any trouble finding high-quality masks, please contact 3-1-1 (617-666-3311) for assistance. For more COVID-19 resource information, visit somervillema.gov/covid19-
