This morning we joined the Solemn Vigil organized by at Harvard Commencement, alongside numerous other Palestine organizing groups. We held signs and handed out flyers to inform and remind attendees of Harvard's complicity in Israel's crimes and their silencing and punishment of students who dare to take a moral stand. Many passersby expressed solidarity, including the parents of Palestinian graduate .rabea whose article on the Nakba was censored by Harvard Law Review.
The morning also included solidarity with and from striking workerswho chanted Free Palestine as they continued their fight for a fair contract.

S4P has been attending Slice of the City Events and Councilor Office Hours across the city to talk to them about their constituents’ mandate to end Somerville city businesses with companies sustaining Israel’s apartheid, genocide, and illegal occupation of Palestine.

Join us at our Open Meeting, Tuesday, May 19th, at 7:30pm to process and organize, as the United States and Israel continue to destroy the homelands of millions of people across Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, and beyond. We recognize that this pattern of aggression with little repercussion for imperialist powers has been the playbook in Palestine and across the region for decades. Here in Somerville, we have publicly launched the People’s Boycott Ordinance for Palestine so our elected officials can do their part in refusing to allow Somerville dollars to support Israel’s genocidal war machine.

This week we’ll build upon our work by continuing to pressure the city to implement the ordinance and planning a teach-in about the boycott ordinance! As always, new members are welcome! DM for location!!! See you there! 🇵🇸🇵🇸

Yalla Porchfest! A little rain doesn't stop us! (despite the weather) was so much fun! This past Saturday, Somerville for Palestine turned up with a beautiful dabkeh performance by and our very own s4p members! Awesome tunes provided by the talented musicians of .artist & Brain TV!
