Mental health matters. You deserve understanding, practical support, and a community where you can thrive. Let’s continue breaking stigma, building awareness, and making space for every person to be heard and supported.

On Friday, October 2, NJCTS visited Washington School in Millburn to speak with nearly 400 fifth graders about Tourette Syndrome and Associated Disorders.

Our Youth Advocates shared their stories, answered questions, and helped build understanding with courage and kindness. We’re especially proud of Micah for showing us what bravery looks like. ❤️

Thank you to Principal Baldassari for the warm welcome and for supporting this important conversation!

Youth Advocate Dylan recently shared his experience living with Tourette Syndrome with approximately 60 fifth-grade students at Strathmore Elementary. Student Gabriel also showed courage by sharing his perspective and helping answer questions.

We’re proud of Dylan and Gabriel for helping build understanding, empathy, and meaningful conversations about Tourette Syndrome in their school community. 💙

The school year is in full swing—and now is a great time to schedule a Tourette Syndrome awareness presentation at your school! 🏫

NJCTS offers two presentation options, and you can schedule one or both:

Youth Advocate Presentations are designed for students and led by an NJCTS youth advocate, often a high school-aged student with Tourette Syndrome. These age-appropriate presentations promote understanding, inclusion, and kindness, while encouraging students to stand up against bullying.

Faculty In-Services are designed for teachers and school staff. Led by a psychologist and youth advocate, these presentations provide a deeper understanding of Tourette Syndrome and practical strategies for supporting and accommodating students with tics.

Our schedule is filling up! To learn more or schedule a presentation, contact Claudia at [email protected] or 908-575-7350.
