We are now accepting proposals for the 2027 season. Proposal forms must be completed and emailed to me no later than June 1st, 2026. If you have any questions, feel free to contact me at [email protected]. Because we have already secured the rights to a children’s musical for mid-July of 2027, please do not plan or schedule a show from late-April to late-July.
Proposals will be discussed by the Board and will then be put forward for final approval at the annual meeting, which will be scheduled for late October.

Here are some important factors to consider while writing your proposal:

1: The Board will only accept proposals from current Star Inc. members (see Charter for membership requirements). If you have questions about your current membership status, please contact me.

2: Before an interested member can direct a show at Star Inc, he/she must first serve as an assistant director to a Star Inc. production.

3: If you submit more than one proposal, please indicate your preference.

4: Be detailed with your proposal (expenses, license fees, cast size, age of cast members needed, special considerations, etc.)

STAR, Inc. began the 2026 season with “Our Town” and right around the corner “Broadway Nights: Behind the Scenes” will hit the stage. The cast is set for “Guys and Dolls” which will hit the Fair Theater stage later this summer. The year will continue with “And Then There Were None” in October and the year will wrap up with “It’s a Wonderful Life” in December. If you would like to audition for any of these wonderful shows, follow our page for updates.
