We are in urgent need of a male adult volunteer to help lead our Fayette County 4-H campers this June. Camp is an unforgettable experience for our youth, and we can’t make it happen without strong, dedicated leaders supporting them throughout the week.

If you’ve ever thought about getting involved with 4-H, this is a great opportunity to make a real impact—mentoring, encouraging, and helping create lifelong memories for these kids.

We are proud to recognize our 4-H Horse Judging teams for their hard work and accomplishments! 🐴

Our Senior High Team placed 7th overall and included Natalie Johnson, Hannah Farmer, Raylea Brooks, and Addison Hatcher.

Our Junior High Team placed 10th overall and included Ashley Johnson, Renley Troxler, and Ella Farmer.

Through participation in horse judging, these youth build valuable life skills such as decision-making, critical thinking, communication, and confidence. Contestants evaluate classes of horses based on conformation and performance, then present oral reasons to justify their placings—mirroring real-world industry practices.

We are incredibly proud of their dedication and the way they represent our county 4-H program!

We are so proud of our Fayette County 4-H Chopped Challenge Team and all the hard work they have put in over the last 3 months! 👏🍽️ These members have dedicated countless hours to practicing, learning, and growing their skills—and it truly shows!

The 4-H Chopped Challenge is a hands-on cooking competition where youth are given a mystery basket of ingredients and must work as a team to create a dish within a set time limit. Through this experience, participants build valuable life skills such as teamwork, time management, creativity, communication, and kitchen safety—all while having fun in the process!

We are excited to celebrate our 2026 Fayette County 4-H Piggy Bank Contest winners! 🐷💚 This year’s contest was a huge success, with over 700 votes collected—what an incredible show of support from our community!

The 4-H Piggy Bank Contest encourages youth to get creative while learning the importance of saving money and financial responsibility. Participants design and build their own unique piggy banks, combining creativity, craftsmanship, and practical life skills.

We are so proud of our Fayette County 4-H members who represented us at the Southwest Sub-Region event last week in McNairy County! 👏

🎤 Carson Rowland (Rossville Christian Academy) placed 2nd in the 5th grade speech contest
🎤 Ella Farmer (Rising Stars 4-H Club) placed 3rd in the 8th grade speech contest
🎤 Presley Conner (Fayette Academy) placed 3rd in the 4th grade speech contest (not pictured)

The 4-H Public Speaking Contest gives youth the opportunity to develop confidence, communication skills, and the ability to clearly express their ideas in front of an audience. Participants prepare and deliver speeches on topics of their choice, helping them grow as leaders and effective communicators.

Great job representing Fayette County, we are proud of you all! 💚

🚜🤖 **Calling all high school students interested in agriculture and technology!**

The **AI in Ag Camp** is a unique 4-week experience where students can explore how artificial intelligence is transforming agriculture. Participants will get hands-on experience with **drones, robotics, smart devices, and ag technology** while spending time on the University of Tennessee’s Knoxville campus.

📅 **June 1–26, 2026**
🎓 Open to **current 11th & 12th graders**
👥 **Only 10 spots available**
💲 $100 refundable deposit for accepted participants

Students will spend Monday–Friday mornings learning from university faculty and industry professionals while discovering real-world applications of AI in agriculture.
